BAHNHOFCITY WIEN WEST, VIENNA

The shopping landscape of Vienna is becoming even more diverse: In 2011, Austria's first BahnhofCity will go into operation. Travelers, commuters, visitors and residents will not only be using a completely modernized train station, but will also be able to enjoy an extraordinary shopping experience. The emphasis of the integrated shopping center will be on the fashion sector, while also boasting an extensive choice of food, gastronomy and travel necessities.

Opening

Since October 2008, the historic train station has been being remodeled during ongoing operations to become BahnhofCity Vienna West. The opening is planned for fall of 2011.

With the new BahnhofCity Vienna West, the actual traffic station, namely the station concourse, will be enlarged by a gastronomic, shopping and service center.
