Economic boost for the cities

In many cities, the construction of an ECE shopping center is the biggest private investment for years - and this is money that particularly benefits the ailing construction industry. It is also in the interests of ECE to ensure that a high percentage of the total investment sum remains in the region. The aim is to involve the local and regional construction industry and associated trades in the building of the new project. This provides an urgently needed injection of funds for the local and regional trades and construction companies, and it secures existing and creates new jobs.

Creating jobs and apprenticeship places

Several hundred jobs are created in the city and the region during the planning and construction of shopping centers. Once a center has opened, it provided as many as 1,000 long-term jobs, depending on the size of the project - as well as several dozen apprenticeship places for young people.
