More than 96% of Serdika Center in Sofia leased
Top fashion brand Zara signed contract +++
Opening of the state-of-the-art center on March 16th, 2010
Three month before opening of the Serdika Center in Sofia, Bulgaria, more than 96% of the rental area is already leased. Zara, one of the most admired fashion brands in Europe, just recently signed a contract for a unit. The Serdika Center will be opened on March 16th, 2010. Serdika Center is being realized by Sparkassen Immobilien AG, which is listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, and ECE Projektmanagement, European market leader in the field of inner-city shopping centers. The total investment amounts to EUR 210m.
Serdika Center comprises more than 51,000 square meters of lettable area on three levels. There will also be about 32,000 square meters of Class A office space on top of the retail space. The shopping center will house approx. 220 shops with international and Bulgarian brands. The biggest stores are Peek & Cloppenburg, Technopolis, Piccadilly, Zara, Humanic, Esprit, New Yorker, Reserved, Galleria Scandal and the children’s hypermarket Hippoland.
