HAMBURGER MEILE, HAMBURG
Promotion back into the top league of shopping centers: this was the confidently voiced goal of ECE when it took on the management of the "Hamburger Straße" in May 2007. For the purpose of revitalizing the center, Hermann Friedrich Bruhn real estate company and ECE have set up a joint venture, which also owns all the retail premises in the Hamburger Straße complex.
Opening
The center opened in 1970. From 2008 to 2010 it has been modernized and reconstructed from scratch for around 200m euros. The northern extension of the now more than 600m long shopping promenade opened on April 28, 2010. The heart of the new section is a large food court with many culinary offers.

The shopping center "Hamburger Meile" offers a youthful, cosmopolitan range of goods and services. The center has around 150 shops: fashion outlets, one major sports shop, one consumer electronics store, two supermarkets, a food court, a day nursery, service outlets and restaurants/cafés.
